I Love You Too.

As soon as I closed the front door,
I stripped off my pants
rushed to the Hi-Fi
put on some music and started
singing and dancing to 'Mack The Knife'
like a damn fool.

I sang and danced without my pants on,
for a good 20 minutes.
Any one observing me would've thought I'd gone nuts.
Thing is, I just might have.

Phew,
that felt good.

It's been a long time when since I've gotten this high and I've felt soon
on top of my game.

It's been a long time,
old friend.
It's been a long time since we met.
Joy.

I passed my 2.4km run!
Woot!
Such indescribable joy.
Not just because this year,
was the only year in my secondary school life
that I passed.

This year, I passed with such little effort,
that I even suprised myself.

This year, this punk who plays the harmonica
out ran many other sportsmen and members of uniformed groups.
All of whom where supposed to be fitter than me.

This year, after completing the run without hardly breaking a sweat,
I could swear when I heard my timing being announced.

13.30 minutes.

Bloody fuck!
So slow?
I should have ran faster.

This was the year, when at the end of the run,
I felt that I hadn't exerted myself enough.

This was the year where I was actually encouraging
people to run along with me. (instead of them asking me to buck up)

This was the year, when there were people cheering for me.
Especially one girl who kept screaming ''I Love You''
(Which I promptly ignored, since I had to focus on running)

This was the year when I truly felt disappointed at simply just
passing.
(I'm gunning for at least 12minutes when I retake my run next week.)

This was the only year that I did not complain about being out of breath,
or muscle strains after the run.
(In fact, I only took less than 5 minutes to catch my breath,
and even then I was already talking trash.)

This is the year.

Sorry If I diddn't acknowledge the people who were cheering for me
during the run. I was too busy, well, running.
But I heard them all right, and it felt real good.

For that girl who was screaming "I Love You."
Yea. I Love You Too.

12 minutes, here I come.

lol...

This being my last year too, I don't really care about getting that shiny gold anymore. Given my detest for long-distance running, I'm kinda proud to say that I used 18 minutes to walk 3 rounds.

You were saying 12?

Eh..
Not fair.
This seems to be the only year where that shiny gold seems within grasp! Bronze? Bah!

But then, you still can't beat my all time record,
Sec 2 28 minutes for the entire 2.4..
I got pissed off after running one round, it must have been 30degrees out..

And yep, I'm aiming to hit below 12 for my retest, my one and only shot at somethign other than a bronze..
