Ah well, just go for a full tan when you are free... Ha! Try spending 2 weeks in Kuantan/ Malacca - confirm even out skin tone.
Mad! But if a few hours under Singaporean sun is enough to cause the difference in skin tone, I'd much rather save the money on bus tickets, thank you.=)
