And then it struck me,
I'll never get to screw around during lessons
ever again.
I'll never be able to shrug off messing up test and
exams, while listening to the teachers tell me that
I just didn't put in enough effort; knowing full well that
I simply didn't care.
I'll never be able to get snappy with those very same
teachers and get away with it.
I'll never be able sate my hunger with $1.50 Hokkien Mee
anymore.
I'll never be able to waste 8 hours in that Viridian uniform,
reading Erik Orsenna, Marcel Moring or Terry Pratchett under the desk.
I'll never be able to do these things, ever again.
That is, unless I flunk my O levels, and take it again the next year.
