Wihtout further ado, may I present the 3 course
POST NO BULLSHIT DIET (GRR!) DIET FEAST.
Drum roll, please.

Wild mushroom bisque with sherry.

Flamed Bocourti fillet, batter prawns with a reduced orange sauce and
mashed potatoes with herbs.

For dessert, Vanilla Affogato covered in a dark chocolate ganache.
Well, I didn't have enough mushrooms for the bisque, the orange sauce wasn't reduced enough to glaze the prawns and the dessert was horribly fucked up by ice cream that would not maintain it's semi solid spherical state which resulted in the horrible monstrosity that you see, exacerbated when I added the espresso and hot chocolate over it.
All in all, it was pretty good cooking again, after more than a year of not having cooked a proper meal and months of eating random and horrible nonsense doled out by the kitchen at the restaurant and quick lunches at the shitty food court near Starbucks. Good stuff, and a satisfactory result considering that I spontaneously decided to cook for the family, just yesterday. Apart from not having enough mushrooms and lousy ice cream. It was all good.
Oh, I don't get why people aren't nearly as enthusiastic about alcohol as I am. I mean, apart from adding too much liquor to the fish and nearly burning down kitchen, sherry in soup=good. Oh yessir.
